Byline Bank Named a 2026 ‘Best Place to Work for Women’ by Best Companies Group

The recognition underscores the bank’s deep commitment to creating opportunities for women to grow, lead and thrive

CHICAGO, Aug. 31, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Byline Bank is a recipient of the 2026 Best Places to Work for Women Award from Best Companies Group, in partnership with BridgeTower Media. The national awards program honors organizations that demonstrate a commitment to creating exceptional workplace experiences for women.

Women represent 63% of Byline’s workforce and play a critical role in shaping the bank’s culture, serving its customers and driving business results. Byline’s company culture supports employees at every stage of their careers through leadership development, career resources, succession planning, and programs designed to foster ongoing learning, connection and advancement.

“Creating an environment where women have the opportunity to grow, lead and build meaningful careers is fundamental to the culture we’re building at Byline,” said Dana Rose, Chief Human Resources Officer at Byline Bank. “We’re proud of the talented women who contribute to our success every day, and this recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting them throughout their careers.”

In 2025, Byline employees completed more than 5,000 hours of professional development and skills training, while 26% of open positions were filled by internal candidates, reflecting the bank’s commitment to promoting talent from within. The bank also offers comprehensive benefits to support employees through different life stages, including up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave, adoption and surrogacy assistance, fertility planning services, tuition reimbursement, student loan repayment assistance, and remote and hybrid work options for eligible employees.

Women Empowered by Byline (WEBB), one of Byline’s seven employee resource groups, further supports the development, advancement and retention of women leaders. Open to all employees regardless of gender, WEBB offers professional development programs, executive speaker forums, networking opportunities, book discussions and conversations with senior leaders to help employees build skills, expand their networks and gain visibility across the organization. WEBB is part of Byline’s broader Culture, Opportunity and Belonging initiatives, which create opportunities for employees to connect, develop professionally and make an impact with local nonprofits throughout the communities Byline serves.

Best Places to Work for Women is a survey-based competition recognizing top workplaces for women across the United States. Eligible companies participated in a survey process administered by Best Companies Group, with survey data analyzed and compared across participating organizations with a focus on the experiences of women in the workforce.

“The Best Places to Work for Women winners demonstrate leadership in equity, opportunity and retention. These workplaces excel in creating environments where women employees thrive,” said Jaime Raul Zepeda, executive vice president of Best Companies Group + COLOR Magazine. “At Best Companies Group, we are pleased to certify this honor that recognizes employers who know, recognize and appreciate their female talent. Congratulations to all the winners.”

Final rankings will be announced during a virtual celebration on Sept. 24, 2026.
